if the cd changer is aftermarket it is unlikely if it is an oe the parts to connect them should be available from landrover

I don't know the model number but have a LR part no. the CD changer under the seat is Philips DC-012 that also has a LR part no.
Both items are obsolete now, below is what a ES Philips head unit looks like this one went for £76 + £10 p&p on eBay
I just about to pull the kit out of my disco as my head unit does not see the CD player now, all I get is "no CD" i'm going to fit a Pioneer head unit which i've had for a few years with it's CD changer under the seat every thing will work except the dash/steering controls

And ive been looking for one for months to replace my faulty one, put it on eBay and you will get a few bob for it

I have one of them and I will sell it if anybody wants it I also have a cd changer aswell the only problems are.. the radio needs its code as I don't have it and the cd changer is missing its slide.. let me know if anyone is interested

I have already ask that question plus the model number as there two models (old and newer) via a pm but sofar no price.
To late now anyway I have just fitted a Pioneer head unit which I have had a few years and a new Pioneer cd stacker I purchased off eBay, the only thing I don't have now is the remotes around the speedo housing because my Pioneer unit doesn't have that facility, they were never 100% working anyway.
My head unit which is faulty is now on ebay and the as new cd player which I have just removed will be going on soon.
There's a working LR head unit for sale on ebay now, so if you want a multi cd player to go with it just pm me with your offer, the unit is heavy (3Kg) so the carrage charges will be around a £10.

Okloos smart but does it have inputs for a sub, multi cd player and the dash remote controls that the OP will require with a es disco.

sorry for not replying discool but I have been away with work and have had no internet access... the part number I have on it (RG part No) is AMR5505.. there is a TYPE No: which is 22 dc710/01L and is made by phillips.. The only downside is that I have no code for the radio but I am looking for about £20 for the unit plus postage which will possibly be £10

Thanks rooky that's a good deal unfortunatly I 've now fitted a another head unit, I should have waited, but danno may be intrested.
