Hi all. I'm fairly new here, so be gentle. I am in the process of a full restoration of a 1991 200tdi Truck Cab Defender. It is getting to the stage wher I am going to be looking at upgrading all lights.

For the side lights and flashers I have thought of just going for clear lenses with the appropriate bulbs and doing the same on the rear. Hate the thought of paying for the RDX LED NAS KIT. Is the LED conversion worth it?

As for the headlights has anyone went for Halogen Iridium Halo Ring Angel Eye Headlights for Land Rover Defender 90 110 LE | eBay

Or has anyone got any other recommendations? All comments greatly appreciated.

Yep, they look ok but I have found a problem with the leds popping and being a pig of a job to fix or replace.

For headlamps, it depends if you are after looks or function. I have Wipac Freeform headlights. They are similar to those but without the "fairy ring" they are spot on with decent bulbs. IMHO the angel eye just cuts the size of the headlight beam, after all you already have separate side lights. Also saves on messing with extra wiring.

You have a very valid point, I had looked at those Wipac head lights. Looks like they will be on route in the next few days.
