Head lights washers

Hi I have a 2005 L322 Range Rover, my front nearside head light wiper would not park properly and did not squirt water, l installed a new water pump at first it worked fine, but then it stopped again, installed another pump again worked ok for a a short time, now it works but will not park properly, checked the earthing that was ok, now stumped any ideas

Almost 8 1/2 yrs between posts. Is that the record ?

A record for reliability you mean ? No problems for 8 1/2 years.

Nope , just a record for gap between posts No1 and No2
It's green oval reliability is unlikely ,
