head light blown but its not

Mmm my last rr they came out off did have washers and passed 2 mots with them but this one had them fitted just after I bought it with 13 month mot
Just retested it last week and he never said owt about them
That said I dont recall him checking the alignment eather! think he might have rushed it cos it was almost closing time on a Saturday
 
Dint rush it that much though cos he spoted a screw in a tire lol

So something that could potentially temporarily blind another driver and cause a bump he didn't even look at but, eagle eyed, spotted a screw in a tyre. HID lamps are a bloody menace on the roads and should be banned in my view.

With the correct lenses/reflectors they are the future. I'm not away of any yet that will replace a standard headlight bulb, the ones available at the moment are a joke. A 10watt Cree/Epistar would do the business but needs to be made with it's own reflector at the front to direct light back at the car reflector as the LED's produce their light in an arc that does not work well with the standard reflector.
