Head gasket ? 2.0 diesel L series engine

I have got oil in the header tank which boiled up at the same time I suspect the head gasket has gone between the oil / water galleries possibly including a leak into a cylinder as well. anyone had this happen to them or is there another cause for these symptoms any help or advice would be most welcom as I'm tearing the motor down sunday
