Hi driving home after approx 20 mins on motorway , get hdc warning , special programmes off , suspension lowers , I pull over turn off , turn on and it’s gone drive home another 20 mins no issues ? Do these cars just throw wobblys sometimes or is there an issue somewhere , read codes when I stopped loads of new faults communications etc , park break fault , speed sensor , reset and all cleared and stayed off ?

Those symptoms can be battery issues, a blown brake light bulb, a faulty brake light switch, or even a faulty alternator.
Basically anything that upsets the data bus.
And yes, sometimes there's no reason for weirdness, it's a D3 thing.

The odd pot hole can cause it by upsetting the height sensors.......
Clear codes then roadtest recheck for codes, then burn it
Could be as simple as po split drink on the hdc switch.
