A mate has just got some heavy duty springs and two are short.

Are these for the front or back?

I had a quick search and it seems the longer ones go on the front but my original springs are longer on the back although they are heavier

I'm more confused now than normal

Thicker wire coils at rear .

My HD's (and the standards that came off) had longer springs at front .. and as said, thicker wire coils at the rear.
