Without any doubt the Haynes Workshop Manuals are first class but does anyone use them anymore. I had a pristine copy with my Series 3 and passed it on when I sold the vehicle as a pristine copy. Any work that was done on my old POPPY utilised friend's Landrover Workshop Manuals.
I have now acquired a newish 90 'POPPY2' and it came with a pristine Haynes workshop manual but now all the Landrover manuals are online for anyone to read or download and in fairness the quality of the Landrover Tech Pubs produced documentation is second to none.
Nope sorry my Haynes manual is not for sale as I have already moved it on via e bay.

theres times when i find it quicker or more convienient to look in a paper haynes manual rather than firing up the puter to wade through an online version.....

Haynes manual is ok for basicish things but I wouldn't rely on it compared to a proper workshop manual.

Haynes Manuals - The Real Meanings

Brilliant HABIBI I have passed this on to a few friends who will no doubt be amused.
This should be essential reading for all DIY mechanics.
