I have both, and they function pretty much identically. Nano programmes keys with the short code on the back of the circuit board (but there is a Google spreadsheet that generates the long form), and it handles programming the air bag heights better.
The biggest difference though is the screen. The Nano has a big touchscreen, so you can see more live information at the same time (useful for diagnostics), whereas the Hawkeye has a small three or four line display and physical buttons. If I were running a garage, I'd have the Hawkeye as it is more robust IMO. As an enthusiast, the Nano is better.
I've had both, sold the haweye and bought the EVO.
Both easy to use.
I went for the EVO because of the extra functions that it can do over Hawkeye
I bought his hawkeye!! dead easy to use, i got a spare key for mine programmed it with it, did the heated screen, did the new air bags, great tool.
So you did, want to swap for a month, to try the Evo out?
Hardly used the bloody thing
Why? do you want your hawkeye back!!! lol
it's idiot proof so it's good for me!
No not at all, but if you want to try the EVO out let me know and you can have it for a month
