my pile of **** has similar in at the moment, that said it has cracked or slipped liner. I would not suggest using it unless you are planning to scrap engine at later date.
 
a mate of mine used it and it blocked the rad and welded the thermostat closed, no choice but to get a new engine after that......well and truly cooked it

other than that , **** it, dunt use it if yer thinin of actualy sortin the problem before it gets worse ;)
 
kalimex seal up stops all hgf symptoms on most rover k series and has been tested by us nuclear facility.
Cargo Seal up works too.
Your merely delaying the issue and not fixing it if it will get progressively worse.
your water problems sound like immediate investigation required
 
well i have no idea what is wrong with it the engine has just been re built heads done new vally gasket. there is no oil in the water. i would leave it but im wanting to MOT it and its bothering me it wont pass the emmissions
