I've got a Jaguar engine hanging over my chassis ready to draw up and make some mounts. And I now realise that there's a measurement that I forgot to take (tbh it's the first of many I expect) before I took the tdi out.
Would anyone be kind enough to measure the height up from the centreline of the crankshaft to either the top of the front crossmember or top of the spring seats? If you'd also confirm my assumption that the engine sits horizontally I might stop doubting my sanity...
If this was a normal LR I'd put the gearboxes on, drop it onto the gbox mounts and work from there, but I haven't got the bellhousing yet and there aren't any gearbox mounts in the right place anyway.
