Hey everyone,

I'm in need of a couple of CD changer magazines for my 2 P38s, as I found them both missing when the cars arrived in the Islands. It seems that the dealers who sold me the vehicles neglected to make sure the magazines were present before shipping the cars off to me.

Anyway, it's not an urgent need as I use my iPod most of the time anyway, but it would be nice to have the magazines in case I or the missus fancies using them. I have found a couple from parts dealers on the web, but I'm fecked if I'm paying what they want for them, as I'de rather go without.

So if anyone has one (or 2) knocking around in a drawer somewhere, or knows where I can get a couple cheap, then please let me know.

Kind regards

Chris

I have one from my 96 P38 still in situ as I changed the head unit for after market one - what model of stereo do you have in yours as I think there are several different types
Mine is the Harmon Kardon set up, can't remember what head unit as its in the shed and I can't be arsed looking just now - will check later
Pity I didn't see this thread earlier, believe it or not, my wee brother is flying out to the Falklands tomorrow with the military for 6 weeks - he could have delivered it ! :)

Hi Kenny,

That is a shame, what's his name and where's he going to work, I'll track him down and say hi!!

Both vehicles are 96 models with Clarion head units and the same type of changer. Sounds like it could be the right one. If you're willing to post it off to me, let me know how much you want for it and how the much postage is and I'll send it to you. By the way, the postage is standard UK land rates so don't let the Post Office tell you it's overseas airmail rates and charge you a fortune. This will be useful for posting stuff to your Brother.

Howdy John - I'm doing ok thanks, yes, still got the BWBOW but not got away as much as I would like this year for various reasons
Hope things are good with you

Chris,
He is going to be based on the military base at Mount Pleasant, I thought he was away for 6 but he has just told me he is only there for two weeks
Sergeant Ferguson (Fergie) is the man you are after ! :)
It's a Pioneer 6 disc changer, can't see any nos on the outside to see if it is the right one
If you think it is then I'm open to offers ;)

Hi Kenny,

I'm not sure as my systems are both Clarion units from 1996 P38's, which I think are different to the Pioneer ones. I will check and let you know.

Regards
