Is iTunes creating an data CD with AAC music files on it or a standard music CD? Also even if your car stereo is capable of MP3 playback, iTunes creates SONY proprietry music files called AAC. Doesnt matter if your stereo is capable of MP3 playback, it must be capable of AAC, if not it wont play them.

Another point is that some older CD players, it can be down to different types of CDR's. Some work some dont.....it may come down to testing several brands to see which works.

Also clean your CD player with a CD cleaner.....

There are loads of programs on the internet that will let you change from one format to another, I'll see if i can find one for you ;)

Well things get stranger....................I tried burning onto Samsung Pleomax CD-R 52X and guess what it has worked.

Why it would work with Samsungs and not Memorax I have absolutely no idea..................

Thanks folks

George

as Adam sed - some cd players are a bit twitchy when it comes to cd brands - yu tried another - it works - stick with them ;)

Memorex are crap, since Memorex sold the brand name many years ago.

Strange, there is a technical difference between CD-R(W) & CD+R(W) not sure what it could be but it makes a difference.

Glad you got it working :D
