Harman Kardon stereo

Hi all, Had to change the battery on my 2002 td5, when I went to put the code into the radio the number 2 button wont work so I can't unlock it as 2 is the first number in the code! its the only button that doesn't work

does anyone know if i can just get a new front pannel that works or will it have to be spaciffic to the unit?? need to get this sorted cause got no music in the car now and its really starting to get on everyones nerves cause they have to talk to each other lol :blabla:

You only need the number 1 button and the left and right arrows. Press the number 1 button then the right button untill you get to the number you require. Then press number 1 again and it will move to the second digit and do the same again with the arrow etc etc untill last digit then press 1 again.

thanks for the reply but my stereo doesn't have left and right buttons only the numbered buttons to input the code?

He means the tuning buttons which are above pre-set buttons 1 &3 of you have the unit on this page, where there are also instructions for inputting the code.

sorry i dont have tuning buttons above 1&3, it has a rotory knob to set the tuning

Is your a face lift model, because that is the unit in mine (2002) and it's the KH head unit in the pre facelift models.
