I have just changed my trusty (but rusty) 300tdi for a TD5 ES. First thing I noticed was how hard the suspension is compared with the TDI. It has had new front shocks fitted by the PO but the suspension overall does not seem to soak up the bumps like the TDI used to. Not sure what make the front shocks are. I know the low profile tyres on 18" rims don't help but if I hit a pothole it's almost as if the suspension is damn near solid. Any advice?
