1500 quids let see u will get a decent 200 or 300tdi mot write off ie too much rust etc 300 to 500 quids and take the engine out and pair it with the gearbox of yours or if i can weld gearbox mounts onto the chassis then keep the engine and gearbox might be a tight squeeze but can be done friend of mine did that and then upgrade the suspensions including 2 inch lift
leaf spring u got?? and fit bigger tyres and re spray and presto!! nice one!
not sure about pairing the gearbox from swb with 200 300 tdi engine it has been done bit to fit it into swb chassis I assume 88 or 9o inch chassis I am sure guys on here will point u to the right direction
