So far I'm up to page 7 of this thread; the only one you seem to have contributed to, and as far as I can tell, have driven as a customer with Protrax, once, on Happy Valley, taken objection to some-one critasising something about Protrax, and spent the rest of the debate arguing wildly with every-one, indescriminately, with the actual comments being added, and contradicting yourself hugely in the arguments you are creating!
Very 'troll' like behaviour, to which accusation you have taken curiouse objection.... but then you've taken objection to everything, so it doesn't really matter, I guess!

Either way, the 'Code' whether law or not, is pretty much the 'standard' by which 'responsible' behaviour on the lanes might be judged.
Code says groups should be kept under five vehicles. More than that can REASONABLY be critasised as 'irresponsible', whether its illegal or not doesn't really matter here, does it?
First of all you claimed you were in a group of six..... on the large side of advised.... irresponsible..... not MUCH but still above code guidelines.
Next, you claim that you were in a group of 18?!?!
Sorry, run that past me again, which was it, 6 or 18?
Then we get, it was 18, but split into TWO groups.... OK, so now its 9.......

Curiousely, it IS possible to drive the trails of this country without incident, and 'responsible' laners, remarkeably dont get stuck very often...... if at ALL!
Going 'looking' for the sort of trouble that gets Landies stuck I, though, was the kind of activity best saved for P&P days.....

This guy is taking the **** people. This forum is relaxed, friendly and **** take is part of the game. We all accept that and we enjoy it, otherwise we wouldn't be here.
This thread is different now. Its a wind up. As so many of you have said, the arguements are flawed and contradicting. Its arguement for arguments sake. James R is taking a lot of pleasure (for some bizarre reason) in getting the likes of Teflon hot under the collar and that is not fun any more. Teflon mate, you're right in all that you have written, but I'm afraid that James R has also made an accurate point. You have wasted your time working up an unnessary head of steam to type an tremendously impressive post to demonstrate that James R is a complete idiot. The trouble is it was unnessary because he has taunted you into doing just that for his pleasure. We know James R is an idiot and more bizarrely, James R knows hes a complete idiot as well. Its what he wants you to believe and he wants you to lash out. If you were in a pub with him you would have hit out at him. You can't do that here and he knows that.
I think that we only continue contributing to this thread if we want an arguement (Thinks of the Monty Python sketch). This thread has nothing to do with Happy Valley or Protrax. If its arguement you want then you're not going to win, that is clear and that is why I'm not going to enter into any dialogue regarding the laning issues (That and the funadamental point that I have very little experience about laning and therefore can not construct any informed arguements to apply).
Personally I think we all have better things to do, like talk about Landies, better still fix them go out and, who knows maybe we'll even drive them.
