well, that was a success, will be connecting to the car tomorrow to see what is what, the computers connect and we can shere the desktop. i can see the program running etc. this is going to be a handy tool when folks cant get thier comp working. just wish it was easier to connect to comps with a dumbass as a operator then i could fix my mums from home!

at least we'l KNOW its the car, not the computer! if i were you, pop out and get a serial mouse( about 5 quid) and hack the cable ( or use the one you have) and solder or get some of these: Snap-Lock Connectors : Crimp Terminals : Maplin

get em from any motor factors or possibly b&q or similar and permantly seal the fecking cable in! then that eliminates the plug!

if its not computer or connector then its got to be the ecu that controls the air sus!!!

if i actually managed to get this software to work it might help eh just wont work gonna phone the guy in the morning i got it from see what he says just cant get anything with it

Someone did mention to me once that the OBD connector has a fuse that often blows. I wonder if that might be screwing up your comms, although I would have expected you to get nothing, rather than the random stuff you seem to be getting.

Just a thought.
