There's been a few threads about this sort of thing lately. It's common on coil sprung landies. Do a search for more info but it's nowt to worry about imo.

can you not see anything visible by looking? leaking shockie? snapped coil??

can't see anything obvious, and there are no noises coming from the suspension as i would have expected if there was anything wrong

you checked the suspension turret on the bonet to make sure it aint snapped and the shockie popped up? am just throwing guesses in here bud.
