handbreak on 90 moves a little ???

hi all when i put my handbrake on my 90 can still be pushed or roll backwards & forwards 2 or 3 inches before it is stoped , hand brake def on as wont roll down steep hills or you carnt drive away at all. any ideas,thanks

hand brake is actually a transmission brake and so will move a little, this is normal.

Aye it works on the back of the transfer box so any slack in the transmission can be felt after the handbrake is applied. It's normal.

it is normal mate it is just the transmission brake taking up the little slack so it will move a little when you first put it on

It's when they then pull along side you and start mouthing off that you nearly rolled back into em that I likes best. When you say have you never heard of a transmission brake they looks all puzzled.
