My 109 is fitted with a hand throttle......i thought it was the heater lever....D'OH!
The 109 has been sat on my driveway for the best part of six month's, so yesterday i thought i would see if the old girl would fire up.
Pulled the choke out, pumped the throttle 3 time's, then turned the key and she fired into life and sounded as sweet as a nut.
I couldn't believe it, she's been sat there for 6 months, and starts up first time.....Lovely jubbley.
Anyway's, i took her for a spin around the back lanes just to make sure every thing was still working ect. All was going well, untill i put (what i thought was) the heater on to full blast.....turn's out it was the hand throttle, only i didn't know that, untill i went to slow down for a corner.
A very very sharp corner on an old bumpy back lane at 50 mph in a 109 is not the best thing i have ever done, but it did make me laugh.
