Just got a SEALEY oil pump VS70095 , not the ltr one , the larger one 3ltr .
Has anyone got one or used one .
im not sure if its up to the job of EP90 , and pondering sending it back and getting a OIL SAFE pump , which is up to the job . .

Eventually is right , this sealey you pump it up and is pressure feed to the pipe which has a tap on the end . at £80 i did expect better but one chap was happy with his . If i go OIL SAFE its £170 and some for different pots @ £30 for different oils , its how many times am i going to use it . This is my dilemma .

Oisafe is the dogsbollacks, Oilsafe is also bloody expensive! but I have owned mine for about 16 odd years, and it has been used many hundreds of times, I can even pump 85/140 with it.

Only issue I now have is entirely my fault in that the flex hose now got a premanent kink in it as I store it wrapped around the 5 litre bottle.

I only ever use the same 5 litre pot for all the oil variities I use, drain it well before using a different viscosity oil, dont believe all that codswallop about a little bit of wrong oil causing issues.

Also should have said the 5 litre pot top hole is enormous so if you want to get your hand in there to clean it you can easliy do so.

Maybe worth seeing if any 2nd hand ones come up on ebay etc?

D3 gbox oil/atf/80-90/75-90/85-140, it literally does them all.

It is one of them things that will pay you back in spades many times over, plus if you dont like it I wil give you 20 quid for it:D

Got one of these, had it 40yrs, will pump treacle. Pic of one currently on eBay same as mine.

I have the Sealey 3l pump. Have just used it to change oil in both axles, gearbox and transfer box on the tratter. It's a bit slow but did the job with lots less oil down my sleeves than previously.
Not ideal for use on a daily basis but fine for occasional servicing of my own fleet.

I splashed out and got an Oilsafe pump back in 2012. It's very easy to change oil in the transmission and axles now. I like the positive pumping action you get with the plunger, rather than having to rely on air pressure with a garden sprayer. A tiny bit of cross contamination from, say, MTF 94 to EP 80/90 isn't likely to be a problem, so I just use the one container, although of course you can buy them separately.

The other thing with the Oilsafe (or with any good oil pump, come to think of it) is that once you have it, it will get used. Rather than once in a lifetime, gearbox oils will get changed at suitable service intervals. Given the price of reconditioned units, if each oil change adds, say, 10% to the working life of the gearbox, then it'll pay for itself.

Must admit have been happy with the one I got a few years ago , as I thought bigger the volume better the vacuum, think it’s 9 litres
