H E L P ! D2 Door lock

Hi all,
Any wizards out there can advise how to open the rear drivers side door?
Interior panel is off and need to know how to unlock the door working from inside?
The lock motor has power to the plug and makes noises as though unlocking, but NOT!

Hi there, you will need to buy a new door latch/motor assembly...so i have been told it is a common fault. I have just had to replace my o/s/r door assembly as it would only open from the inside and would not open from the outside.

Problem is;- cannot open the door to replace the lock!!!!!!!!
Need to unlock manually from within the door cavity, ANYONE????????

Hi Paul,

I have just had a look on Rave. The latch release arm that is fitted to the latch is positioned towards the door skin side. You may be able to get your fingers in betwwen the door latch mechanism and the door skin.If you can get your fingers in,the lever runs vertically and needs to be pulled downwards to release the latch.
