hi i just bought a 2003 range rover for 1200 pounds the guy put all new suspension on it and still the front end was super extended and the rear on the ground! air sus incative. well i scanned it with my landrover scanner its the front left level sensor. So while im waiting on the part i wanted to use the car so i used two pdfs to manually raise and lower the suspension with just 4 thin pieces of wire nothing else!

ok so you need 4 of the thinnest bits of wire you can find, you need to remove the panel on the passenger side and unplug both plugs from the air suspension ecu then you use the diagram im going to include and you can raise and lower each side manually! took me 3 hours but its driving great! but remember dont plug the ecu back in untill youv fixed your issue or it will go back to the way it was

so i have included the pdfs anyone needs help just message me or email me on [email protected]

dont worry the worse thing you can do is blow the fuse!

i hope this helps some people it took a lot of reading wiring diagrams ect i read a lot of forums people asking the same question, and most people said it cant be done!

its definately a good temporary fix!,only hard part is getting all sides level because i would get one side level then go round the other side and it had went up! took me a few hours to figure it out but anyone with basic electronics knowledge can definately do it and it costs nothing i just used 4 bits of spare wire i had. I was even thinking it wouldnt be hard to put a switch on the wires and leave them on so you could adjust the height to any position you want just by using the switches if you used two standard 12v switches if you press one switch the car will raise and the other the car will lower!

How much do you charge for this...

Askin fer sum frends ;):D

I THINK IT IS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this is an invaluable service. As in.... it has NO VALUE that you could ascribe to it.
actually it does,if your suspension is stuck on low or high like mine was no matter the scanner you have it will still stay inactive not all the time but if you need a level sensor or another part,i was unable to drive my car and i could clear the code with my scanner but it would go back to inactive again when i tried to get it to adjust

to be clear its just a temporary fix untill you can get it fixed to keep it on the road as you know if the suspension is too low or too high it can do damage and in my case it was dangerous crashing through bumps and rolling in the corners, all i need is a level sensor i have ordered it but i have only done this temporarily so i can actually use my car

if anyone wants it done its 100% free and not permanent everything gets plugged back in but you need to remove the air suspension fuse and as soon as its fixed its just the case of plugging the fuse back in and clearing the codes
