Grinding and banging at rear

Hi everyone
i have a freelander 2 on a 07 plate. i heard a bang yesterday and now i get grinding when i go around corners and banging in pot holes and bumps. i have checked the struts and shockers but nothing i can see. could it be wheel bearings ?

This sounds exactly like my wife! - took her wife swapping only to find you only get another in return!! Gutted
