Hi Guys!

Just bought a Land Rover 88 - series 3 in original condition from an old farmer. Drives well, but I would love to do Some minor changes to the body untill I have more time to start a full restauration.

As said it’s a original condition landy. Body and chassis Are solid, except Some dends it’s in good condition to be original! The farmer did not like the black and white land-rover logo/badge on the grill so hè had the brilliant idea to resprayed the logo on the grill in black...

Long story short - it looks bad on the car so I would like to replace it. I’ve been searching for days now but I just can’t find it... any idea where to find it?

Thanks guys!

The logo is integral to the grill on the 88 - part number is 346346 - so you’ll need to replace it all. Example: https://www.johnrichardssurplus.co.uk/land-rover-series-3-genuine-plastic-front-grill-346346.html
Alternatively the v8 had a separate logo which you might be able to get hold of and fit somehow. Part no mrc3598

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought. Better replace the whole grill than it seems to me it’s not that expensive and quiet an important part to me :) thanks for the numbers and advice!

Why not just respray in silver then highlight the letters in black again?

Thanks for the idea! Was my initial idea as well but I noticed all parts are quiet affordable so was thinking just to change it as an easy fix instead of trying to get it smooth with paint :D

For those interested or with the same issue: I just found out Rovers North is selling an original logo replacement to fit on the aftermarket grill!
