Hello, I'm an ex Landy owner ('71 SWB series III & '92 Disco) and am itching to get back into Landy ownership. I'm currently (this week anyway ) swaying towards another Disco but am open to persuasion....

What else do you have your eye on? A series, or perhaps a range rover??

Get a Disco!

300Tdi is the way forward. Comfy and very capable off road with the right tyres on.

Range Rover is nice if you can get a late diesel. The early VM diesels are a bit underpowered so I have heard. Petrols are real heavy on juice unless you get a gas conversion.

Series landrovers or Defenders are good for running around in but not much creature comforts if you are doing long distances.
