Greenlaning

Hi,
with great envy i look at the green laning options in the UK. Does someone knows any possibilites to do this in germany legal? From my understaning it is different in every federal state of germany. Which experience do you made?

You will need to look it up per region, I got fined because I drove past a ‘waldweg gesperrt’ sign and got caught by the ranger.

Some places it is illegal completely due to the Waldgesetz (forest act) etc.
You will need to look it up by region, or find some local 4x4ers in the area you want to go to and talk to them about where there is to go
