No not at all Mad Hat. The dry weather seems to have done it a lot of good. All the substrate that normally washes away in the rain seems to have filled the holes quite nicely. Your not going to drive a Vauxhall Corsa down there any time soon but it's quite pleasant now.

I just wanted to see what the ride was like in the fender Steve. It's absolute luxury compared to mine. Mine kinda makes you feel like you hit something rather than drove over something.

When is the next trip? I have never been green laning but quite fancy a go, I'm just over the border in Sussex. Problem is I have only a 2.5NA so you guys will leave me for dead on the Tarmac (and everywhere else lol)

I doubt it there is usually a series in the lead :D and as you lane at an average speed of about 8 miles an hour I'd be surprised if you didn't keep up
:D
I'd like to add here the series in question is amazing and I stand in awe of the way they run when everyone else is tinkering with fuses in the background ;)

cool subscribed to the thread, will keep my eyes open then! Would like to do some off roading (not to extreme lol..... yet)

There's nowt ridiculously extreme on green laning. You have pay and play sites for breaky stuff, green laning is good fun, takes in scenery. Providing you keep to open byways and don't go off piste and carve up farmers fields, or go out on your own, or forget to wash all the undercarriage of your car it's great :D

yeah i dont want to break stuff, if avoided, i dont care about dents but i cant be doing with ££££ on loads of bits lol, just dont want to stick to tarmac!

Touch wood I've never done any real damage. Several times ago I dented my wing and the wheel arch is still hanging on with cable ties but that's it I think :)

Oooooh and then there was the spring incident...
