is it just me, or does it look like some shouldnt have been driven in that state?

the one that paul got stuck on we didnt do as it was to bad.

the one thats all sandy and with the tree was not that wet, its was the tree in the way that was the problem, the surface of the lane was only soft around the tree due to the sand

3 others we walked up and decided against

there was one that was fine for the first half but then quite wet for the second half but it was an impossible reverse so we had to go forward, it was quite hard packed under a couple of inches of clayey mud though.

most were actually fine apart from a lot of fallen trees

we didnt drive anything we didnt think suitable/or that we would damage, we skipped 4 that you could have 'pushed' but we didnt want to do damage

I didnt think yu would :),

photos can be defective

no, honest we were good, photos and video can be deceptive, if we were unsure we didnt do it.

lots of evidence of MASSIVE off piste action and some really trashed parts 20metres off the trail etc, also you could see where people had been driving in streams etc in the bad weather.

Did a bit of playing this eavning after sorted problems out caused me to leave..

Whilst doing so bent my steering rod lol.
Quick pic

 max that is some articulation on the back

That's nothing fella honestly, shock was only extended about 2/3. Going to try fabricate some jointed rear arms and tryout some AFrame ball joints that can swivel. Don't want to be paying £250 for a jointed a frame
I really want to get it onto a ramp and try it out.
Was hoping to do one good lane to test it today but never mind..
Will see ya again in the next one I'm sure!!

On that subject the lane in shackeleford that runs from Aldro school to little pond is a no-no at the moment if anyone was considering it. The end near the pond is just too wet.

The rest of the lanes were pretty solid underfoot, more rendered undriveable due to fallen trees than anything else.
We did clear what we could but some are just a bit too big.

If anyone is ever kicking about Mondays and Wednesdays and wants to bimble round some lanes I'm always free Mondays as shops shut and free every other Wednesday!
:D

doing shifts means i often have weekdays off, i would be happy to go for a bimble with a couple of others sometime.

I have been meaning to check out a lane in reigate/redhill way - Lawrence lane to pebblecombe
