Greenlaning in Warwickshire

Got CB and memory maps.

Hey Tim, How's it going?
I have asked Mike for the route we took last time.
Which if we start at Southam still constitutes being in Warwickshire.

Considering the mix of prepared and road standard vehicles i propose a trip early to mid March so the going is good to firm.

Quite a few good lanes in south Warwickshire/Northants are TRO'd from November to April so May would be the best time.

Just wanted to get this thread up and running again, Is anyone out in the near future and could I tag along?
Ive missed the last two pay and plays I had planned to go to due to work and want to get out and about in the land rover soon?

Count me in for anything after the 7th of may (not back from work until then) I have a few os maps of north/east brum and warks. Have done a single lane in atherstone next to a mates pub but as its drummed in not to go on your own I would also like to go with others, and hopefully get to know some of you and make it regular thing maybe?

I may have to juggle it around fitting new toys to the fender though, that's the problem with being away so much, hotel rooms are boring and online shopping is your friend.

If there are any groups going out i would like to get involved also, new to the whole scene so need to be shown the ropes Went out today for a look around Barston, but just a look!! Did not fancy spending the night stuck down a lane

If people fancy going out again and taking a newbie my Disco V8 should be in for an mot soon and I would love to use for more than towing the Caravan

I'd be up for an outing with a few local landy owners in the near future

I can do some trips in the week. But weekends are getting rather busy.

i'm up for some trips in the week or weekends. got a v8 disco with a few mods, live in erdington area of Birmingham

Well I have got a days worth around Southam and Brackley, also Twycross and I wouldn't mind having a look at the ones between Redditch and Warwick.

Anyone got any others worth a mention?

I know of the ones near twycross, i have only driven one of them though. other than that im a complete newbie and cant be of any use, i have a couple of os maps that im working through.

On a slightly different note, a really good friend of mine runs a pub right next to twycross zoo so that could be good for lunch or summit.

Im free all week gents so if anyone is interested im dying to get out.
