Green Laning Northumbria?

I've been on a few of the shorter ones, but a lot are overgrown and I need to avoid these as mine is still shiny.

Where are you located? I'm near Morpeth.

I live fairly close to you, and go greenlaning with all terrain tours who do a range of greenlaning tours in the northeast. Been with them quite a few times and always had a full and brilliant day. Very good guidance and help where required. Already have a number of days booked up with them this year. If you are starting out, would recommend a couple of trips with Mark & Clive.

Have a look at Land Rover Owner - April, covers a lot of lanes in Northumberland, including some I've done or knew about. Drop me a PM, if you fancy doing some from about April onwards.

Will def be up for that, will give you a shout nearer then. I'll check out that LRO as well, usually buy it anyways.

Cheers :)

Hi guys, sorry to bring up an old thread. I to live near Morpeth and would love to either tag along with a group day out or hear about any areas near which are good to explore

Hi Stuart, I am also near Morpeth and have been out a few times locally to a few of the lanes featured in LRO earlier this year. Pretty much a novice though so would be quite interested if there was a group day organised locally.

Cheers

Hi scott

I have been told about the routes u mention from LRO, i dont suppose you could scan a copy of them for me?

If you ever fancy a day out exploring give me a shout mate

I have been told there are some good routes in kielder inc and old quarry so going to look into that to

Also going on a day trip organised by allterraintours in a few weeks but thats scotts corner so not as local as id like

A local group would be great

I will have a scout about for the magazine and see if I can get it scanned in for you.

I have heard Kielder mentioned a few times, supposed to be good up there. Will you throw a post up when you have been out with ATT? Heard good things about them. If they are any good then I might get myself along.

If I get any trips planned I will give you a shout. Seen a few people out locally, especially up Ingram, there is a cracking lane up there which was featured in the mag.

Cheers

hey guys Im new here too and to 4x4s. i live near morpeth too. we should def meet up one weekend for some tame laning!! Ha ha. my disco is standard apart from tyres so not looking at anything too challenging either.

Another vid I have from a couple of months back, this time crossing a double ford. For anyone who has had a look at the lanes featured in LRO, this is the double ford that they couldn't cross due to it being too deep/fast running water. Was summer and we had just had quite a dry spell, so no such problems for me!
