i might join you, actually, if there's enough room!! I'm not far from Sawtry, but my vehicle also my day-to-day transport, so how "easy" are you talking?? I don't mind getting stuck (see my avatar!), but trees through the windows, bent body panels, resting up against trees etc... is a bit of a no-go for me atm!!

Where do you go round peterborough ? I used to do a lot when the likes of Swineshead wood and Santa pod were a good day out each, the last time I was Swineshead way an average family saloon would have done it without getting stuck.

The lanes I normally do are mud only so you wont get your landy damaged.
what are the lanes like near Santa pod?Pecker

Sawtry is easy, Viking way is much better a bit more up the A1m

No body damage is a good thing as I don't know how I'd explain that one to the mrs...

I've never damaged any of my panels and ive done some crazy lanes before!

well, let me know when you're next going somewhere suitable for a vehicle that can't be damaged!! Mud is fine, i have a winch, tow bar, recovery points, etc... too.

Not been laning properly before, so hopefully you'll go on a day I can make it!!

When bullock road was all holes before it was levelled out, santa pod made it look like a walk in the park. It's a fair few years since I last did any laneing, just after they were all levelled out. I'm going back 10 years or more.

I'll let you guys know as soon as I can plan a day out.

depends where you are... a fellow Landy owner and good friend of mine recommended Serviceman in Huntingdon (near the railway station). I've not been there yet though, so have no experience myself.

alright guys ive planned a route for sunday tis a route ive done before there are some easy lanes and some more challenging so mixed bag really, it will have ta be a late start cuz its a mates 30th on sat an i will be recovering in mornin. so we meet at mc d's next to toys r us in peterborough for bout 10:30ish i might be a little bit late. if ya wanna come let me no or jus turn up.

Annoyed at myself that I cant come really, landy not got an MOT yet. Just the brakes to sort out - time is the big problem for me tbh, or rather, the lack of it!

Well myself and Munka went on Sunday and had a really good day, did alot of lanes in and around Whittlesey, March and Chatteris... some pretty rutty stuff and some fairly muddy stuff. I was very impressed with how my Disco 2 coped, it did really well... right up until the last lane where it got stuck, very very stuck! Munka then also got stuck and had to winch himself out, not sure what sort of vehicles could actually get down there, never seen anthing like it lol... very good fun!
