Green Laning In Derbyshire & Area

I was out walking the dogs up by flash lane last weekend when I happened to be walking on a green lane.
So using the power of google I thought i'd see where the other end would bring me out. Anyway the lane is a farm lane called 'back lane' off sydnope hill B5057 and just off it to the left quite clearly is a heavily used play area!
Does anyone no much about it as I've only had my Landy 2 weeks and would like to get out at some point and figure this could be a good 1st start.

The lane is fine to drive, but the bit at the side will be private land so don't go playing on it.

Just done some more browsing on the site and found in the off roading section that its a Pay & Play site along with it a name & number! Wooohooo!

I went there with my last RRC about 12 years ago, It was a mint 88 Vouge I had just put some BFG Muds on and was bashing it about all over the site. The girlfriend(now wife) wasn't to pleased when i took it back covered in crap and both rear bumper caps and the front air dam hanging off.:D

Great thread.

I'm buying a 110 Hard Top hopefully at the weekend and am desperate to get out and try my hand at green laning. Never dared in my disco incase I damaged it but this defender is a million miles away to that thing.

I'm a keen walker and mountaineer and sop know the peaks reasonable well so it'll be interesting to see them from my motor!

Just found this thread - my mum moved to Dronfield a couple of years ago, so me and my mate may come over to visit her and tie it in with one of you lots trips out! :D
