Great trip in my 1.8

Hi guys

Just a update on my little 5 door just completed around trip though South Africa of around 3000km on some of the roughest roads and great national roads in some places traveling at well over 160km/h for long periods of time. I am glad to report this will all done trouble free he did not miss a beat!! I am very happy with my little chap!

They don't all self destruct as some people would have us believe! Have you got one or two pics for us to see?

Not all tarmac then, quite a mix of road surfaces! The guy I bought my FL was from Cape Town and enthused about going on road trips around SA when he was younger!

Good thing it wasn't raining. Doing that trip with no doors would have been uncomfortable.

Got drive the freelander today in deep water as some parts of Port Elizabeth South Africa are flooded as we speek as we havee had heavey rain for 24 hours

A bit like Wales, then.
