It'll never happen, firstly because half of the UK population probably can't afford a car newer than 10 years old and lets face it the public transport in this country couldn't cope. Secondly, where would all those scrapped cars go?? Suppose they could dump them all in the ocean and increase the UK's landmass, then they could deal we the housing shortage... This rumour has been circulating for fooking years. Mainly because in Holland and Belgium (possibly others) It's very difficult to get insurance for cars that are more than 10 years old. but then they pay half of what we pay for cars so it's not such a big problem over there.

only from cities if it did happen . and i dont like citys.
