Hello from south wales

Hi everyone!

Another landy nutter just joined your forum

I've got a series 2a with a 2.5NA engine in it out of my sisters 90 (which we recently fitted a V8 to).. I'll fit a 200TDi into it one day, but this engine is fine for now.

The landy is a bit of a family heirloom.. my grandad bought it in the 60's, then dad had it, and now its mine. It was parked up in our field for 12 years or so, and I decided to rebuild it. It's got a galvy chassis and bulkhead so had no rust.. it's all protected and waxoyled now anyway

recently had a bit of fun pulling vans out of the mud at CamperJam (mam is a VW nutter and has a 'late bay' T2 Camper van!)



My landy has only been on the road since May, Really enjoy driving it as my only car I bought new tyres for it this month so am a bit skint!

I live in swansea in the week, and am back home most weekends. I'll check out the map to see if there are any nearby members

looking forward to taking it off road more!!

Yep it's a haven for purists and rivet counters, but the knowledge on there is amazing and it's a nice friendly forum, I've had so much help! BUT yes there are too many threads about dodgy ebay adverts lol, doesn't really bother me though.

I'm not fussy about what gets bolted onto mine, as long as it works!!

ive got a defender engine, one front hub is off a series 3,
defender radiator,
the brake servo is off a ford capri,
expansion tank off a disco,
long legged diffs,
dashboard that i made myself,
exhaust is made from all sorts of bits that I had lying around at the time,
alternator off a subaru, the list goes on! haha.

can't beleive you haven't been banned
