Good Vibrations, not so good :(

Hi All,

New to the forum and hope somebody can help me out. Have a 2001 Disco 2 TD5 which is great, just have a few strange things going on with it, which I hope somebody can help me out with:

1) When I park on the kerb and drive off or go over bumpy ground or lose traction, there is a "buzzing/vibrating" sound from the front left corner.
2) When breaking in ICE the Traction Control light comes on and the braking feels like it is not working and something is pushing back against the pedal - is this right?

Got a sneaky suspicion that the above issues may be linked!!

sounds like the traction control and ABS are just doing their thing.

mine does that too, i think it's supposed to. TC light will flash on when it's activated and the noise comes with it as it stops wheels spinning, the braking thing is a little odd a first but you get used to it, especially in this weather, I tend to still use cadence braking too to avoid the inevitable sliding on the ice
