Good news /Bad news

Good news went to get two new tyres fitted, 37 quid each.Remoulds technic 205 16 .Only 3 left so if you live near Stockport grab a bargain.Bad news transfer box still got steady drip off it after a run.Im off down Cornwall tommorow 700 mile round trip! Do you think it will be ok to risk it and maybe top it up after 200 miles.Untill I can sort it when I get back?

why dont yu contact the "S*L*A*P*P*E*R*S" as a safety backup

Is it the front prop seal or the rear?
front one's pretty easy to replace - couple of hours max.
never done the rear one.

Its the rear one behind handbrake drum .The oil is leaking from bottom of the drum about one drop every twenty secs when oil is hot.Spoke to local Landy man and he didn't seem to concerned.Its an auto so handbrake slipping isnt as much a problem.I was more worried about gears running dry.Who are the slappers ? Plenty of them round here but dont think they know much about Landys

Are you any good at fitting transfer box seals Ive got them in the glove just in case

ave done the front one on me deepender recently, never done a rear one though.
can't be that hard.

Thanks for the offer lads.Ive got R.a.c cover so should be ok if things go tits up.Forgot to mention Ill be towing my eighteen foot van .My first holiday in Disco ended two hours latter on the back of recovery truck .Cost me £750 engine repairs and new rad .But I can laugh about it now!

Thanks for the video .Enjoyed that.The most exciting thing I do is negotiating pot holes and cobbles on our road.Eeeh by gum its grim up north.
