Ok, so i've decided on the colour, ive booked a week off work and im gonna paint my 90 with brush and/or roller. I will be ordering the paint from Turners Trade Paints as recommended by various people on the forum as they are coach paint specialists.
My dilemna is this, which paint should i order? The synthetic (also known as coach) paint, 2 litres is more than enough according to them...or the cellulose based paint, of which 6 liters would be required. Any experiences good or bad appreciated. Also what primer should i use, theres no mention of this on their webpage. Prices would also be a help.. any ideas per liter?
Thanks, Mark

Ain't a painter but what I have seen is the synthetic takes ages to dry and all the ****e sticks to it, hope you have a garage out of the rain. Mat finishes are not bad but any glossed sometimes are ****e.

But there is a painter newby on here ask him.

Go for the synthetic, I used a litre and half for my 110. I thinned it 10 per cent with white spirit first, came up cracking.

I've ordered 5l to paint my 110 SW.
Am using a brush to paint my lr in Tekaloid.
Will post pics when done.

That sounds like a lot of paint

What's tekaloid??, is it a colour or a make of paint, do you mix activator with it, how long to dry and how much per litre.

Tekaloid is a named brand. Has its own colour charts.

Thick, and self leveling. Also takes a while to dry so allows you plenty of time to paint. Brush or roller.

Search on ebay for a cheap supplier.
