the terrafirma one says l322 in the title but not preloaded in the description

Faultmates are good but have draw backs. 1 Price. 2 Locked to VIN. 3 Costly add ons. As i said before, if it's a P38 Nanocom is the only sensible choice.

i know what your saying wammers but has any one tried these new kids on the bloc ?

for the price of a tank of fuel they gotta be worth a go

Not if they are for later OBDII compliant cars they aren't. P38 petrol engines are the only bit that is OBDII compliant. They won't touch any of the other systems. And not go anywhere near a diesel. Buy one and lets us know how you get on.

haha if only

From what I know (which ain't a lot at this stage) you are unlikely to get much from a system that - if you read the blurb carefully - makes no special claims for accessing anything other than the very limited set of functions of ordinary OBD2. I'd get it written in blood that it can do more than simple OBD2 before parting with any cash.

I'm in a similar quandary. It's either spend a fortune on a nanocom that does everything(?) or strip the systems out in such a way that they do what they are damn well told.
I'm presently up for the latter as I enjoy a fight with recalcitrant technology.

Good luck with that one. :D:D
