ok summer is on its way, the snow has gone and fuel prices are on the increase.
i am considering disconnecting the prop shaft and going 2wd on the freebie.

i have searched forums and cant seem to find anything really mentioned about this other than one thread.

has anyone done this?
what do i need to disconnect?
does it cause long term damage?
has anyone noticed better mpg?

if i have missed a thread containing this info, pls point me in the right direction.

cheers

i have been driving on front wheel drive for about 6 wks , took prop of completely and blanked ird box , we have taken it on country lanes and moutain lanes and no probs , dont think fuel saving is that noticable
