Hi guys
Been rubbing down some of the bodywork today getting everything ready for when we start spraying everything in a few weeks time, anyway I didn't take much notice when I was stripping the 2a down roughly 3 yrs ago but today whilst bringing the roof in from outside I realised the inside of the roof was lined with old aftermarket roof lining material which I removed as I plan to re-line the roof later but I need to remove the old glue not sure what it is think it mite be Bostick or Evostick or something, any idea's please :)

Evo stick do a remover. Not sure what solvent it is but if you can find out its probably cheaper to buy a gallon of an unbranded one.

We used to key up the roof with an angle grinder and lather it in Evostick before applying a black vinyl type insulation to our vehicles.

It had bugger-all thermal value but did seem to hold back the condensation in winter. Subsequently, rolling off a Hercules, in to a ‘hotter climate’ it would melt the glue and the bloody lining would drop on your head.

Anyway, my guess would be evostick.

Doh sorry forgot the pic's
