hiya guys, after cleaning the fuel sediment and fuel filter starting is still a bit crappy and it still struggles with power up hills.

im going to change the glow plugs on friday.
im sure i read some where about being carfull of some part dropping into the head ???

or am i mistaken? is there anything i shud be aware of other than just take out and put in ?

thanks. sam

Dunno about the glow plugs, I just swapped 'em carefully ... ;)

But if the sedimenter and fuel filter have been changed, especially if the sedimenter was dirty, then it might be worth undoing the fuel pipes at each end and using an airline to blow them through to clean any debris/goo from them. If you don't fancy this then maybe try a diesel additive that's specifically made to clean pipes injectors etc ... Can't recommend one 'cos I've never used one but it seems logical to try one if you've tried doing other stuff that hasn't fully worked ... ;)

spray wd around plugs any time the engine is cool enough,
as said take your time, ffs, dont snap any or the fun begins.

thanks for that guys. well the turbo ceased and blew oil all over the head so there shud be enough oil already soaked in there as it was sat for a week nackerd lol. haha

thankyou
