right im in need of a bit advice please from you eggsperts
as yer may or may not no mi 90 has a switch and solenoid fer the glow plugs
i jetwashed the 1st one and killed it
so i got another one and it died afte a week or so
only thing i can put it down to is driving half a mile stopping for cigs then strating it again with it turned on constant for half an hour which shouldnt kill it or so im told
so after by passing it for a month after a month o using a jump lead to start it in the morning i replaced it on saturday and all was well and good with the world
then today i flicks the switch wait 30 seconds and start it no probs
pull up outside of the carpark to talk to the security gaurd and then drive 500yds to tesco get into the car park after about 5 mins at the traffic lights
realise if left solenoid switched on so i flick it of and it clunks as it does
comes out flickes it on no clunk (engines warm so it starts anyway)
gets home sticks mi testers on it power goin in at both terminals but none coming out to the glow plugs
wtf am i doing wrong does any one know
and what can i do to stop it happening
or what can i replace it with to operate mi glow plugs
