Be gentle removing the old plugs ,dont break them. Put copperslip on threads to prevent seizing. and as wammer says replace leak off pipes while manifold is off including return to tank piece. about 11/2 hrs work if you take your time.

Hi, whilst I was changing my glow plugs I noticed what looks like a sensor right next to number two plug was broken. Any ideas what it is or where I can get one?

Dash gauge coolant temp sensor. Could be blue or brown depending on year of car. Looks like it's not been broken long. Surprised you never noticed your gauge not working. Or are you to ashamed to say you broke it. :);)

Look here to get some idea of what you are after. Range Rover 2 Engine Sensors at www.rimmerbros.co.uk
