Sort of to do with Land Rover stuff but if this belongs in Anything Goes then sorry...

Anyone know how long it usually takes the people behind the scenes at GLASS to process a membership request?

I joined online early last week and bought a couple of things through their online shop at the same time but other than the conformation email I have heard/received nothing from them since.

I've tried using the "contact" us option on their shop page but had no response to that either.

Anyone else experience this when they joined?

You haven't said how long you have been waiting, but bear in mind that as far as I am aware, GLASS is mainly run by volunteers.

That is probably why they have not got round to responding to you yet. It may be that they only meet up once a month.

Be a bit patient and let us know in a week or so if you have had no further responses.
 
Feel a bit guilty now... the membership bloke has emailed me today to apologize for the delay, unfortunately his mother in law passed away last week.

Now I feel guilty for being impatient!

Sometimes being a volunteer myself I forget how much work it is being a volunteer and having a life.

Must learn to be less impatient when purchasing on the net!
