Hi guys

I've recently bought 4 white steel wheels, and would like to de-rust them and paint them. :)

Are there companies that do this, or is it a simple job with a wire brush, or drill attachment?

What sort of stuff should I be doing: e.g. applying rust preventer/eater undercoats, etc.

What sort of paint should I be using to finish them off to look original?

Cheers

dead easy mate.

just sand em down to give a good key and give them a few coats of Plasticote 2in1. Done my wolf rims with 3 coats. results were good.

depends on how bad rusty your rims are, a good sanding for a key might be all you need.

Ah did mines wi' the wire brushes on a drill. Thet wern't rusty so ah just primed and painted thum wi' a nice satin black;)

Try and find somebody that does shot blastin' in yer area then finish thum off yersel';)

The colour ye're probably wantin' is Limestone if ye're tryin' tae keep thum lookin' original;)
