He's got a few in the same price bracket - various mileages, various conditions.... even some with galv chassis' - Though I notice a few stray wires is some of the pictures - always a bit of a concern - either poor prep, or

Common background to a lot of the pics too, so I hope he's genuine - or some poor soul is gonna get some griefo_O

Are you going to have a nosy ?;)

Looking closely at all the sub£10k stock they're all high mileage poor prep'd/maintained, they all appear to be covered in body/chassis crap...most have had a cheap blow over and a liberal coating of silicon spray to the interiors

Past MOT history is not too bad but latest one indicates the rot has set in. I would say the dealer has given it a coat of paint to maximise his profit. It will be a money pit, but possibly a good project if the price can be beaten down (a lot).

I looked at this and was very tempted, went on to check the DVLA mot site, Had major issues one day and amazingly passed the next, so I didn’t bother.

I'm not disagreeing, but the OP asked if this looked like a genuine advert - which to me, it does... The vehicle itself is tarted up beyond belief - waste of a good pot of paint ..... The one on the galv chassis looks a better starting point - but might be a complete dog in the flesh .....

Looks genuine advert but the prices have gone mad. Imagine if someone had said a few years ago that a 1986 90 would be selling for over £6k!!

Better to buy a ropey one and do it up yourself. At least that way you know the issues, even if you pay a local garage to do it for you. We all know the basics stuff that it will need.

One thing that jumps out a me though is why go to all the trouble to make the Landy look as good as you can and then not bother to paint the bulkhead behind the seats and around the rear windows. Just doesnt make sent to me. Looks fur coat and no knickers.
Stumpy
