gems coil pack testing?

anyone got a good way of testing?mine dont seem to spark..

tried grounding coil wires at ecu with ecu not plugged in(ie w/b w/n w/y w/k)with ign on..coils are live..draws loads of current so primary lt sides are good..but no spark..
normally one would just brush neg wire to gnd and spark would show at plug..

tried new plugs..cant believe all 4 coils or 8 leads are shot!

have you tried sticking your tongue on them?

dont help i am afraid..need to know if there is a specific way..cos wat i have done should fire them!
